Joshua Halpern JD, MBA
Joshua Halpern completed the combined JD/MBA program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. He frequently represents clients accused of a wide range of offences in the Ontario Court of Justice. He has experience conducting bail hearings, pre-trials, preliminary inquiries, and trials.
Gerald Shapiro BA, Paralegal
Gerald Shapiro is a founder of Shapiro Halpern Law Criminal Law & Traffic Offences Toronto. He graduated from Concordia University with a BA in Sociology and Criminology, and later earned his Paralegal Diploma at Seneca College in Toronto. Gerald has earned an excellent reputation for his service and expertise. In addition to providing legal services, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Continuing Education at Seneca College in the department of International Business.
Kaitlyn Dumais BA, Paralegal
Kaitlyn completed her Honours BA at the University of Toronto, studying Religion, Society and Ethics, and graduated with distinction in 2010. She went on to pursue paralegal studies, graduated with high honours and was licensed as a paralegal in 2013. She has worked mainly in criminal law and provincial offences throughout her career. Kaitlyn is passionate about issues arising in the intersection of mental health, ethics and the law.
